Thank you, Google. It is alarming that the Bush administration is asking for this, especially in light of the warrant-less surveillance and wiretapping that they have conducted.

The only problem is that the purpose of this demand is to determine the number of people searching for child pornography. As covered in December, it is prevalent online. Although I disagree with that article about the boy being a , I do agree that there are thousands of teenagers with webcam that come into conversations with sexual predators.

I forget why the US Supreme Court struck the online child protection laws down.
