Robotic Sign Language

daveynin links to something interesting being concocted in Japan, the champion of robotic technology. They can use spoken phrases and translate them into a sign language, though not necessarily ASL.

I'm still waiting for a video game that has each character doing sign language. That would get rid of the necessity for subtitles, surely.
