no longer only about blood-letting

When September 11th struck--an anniversary of which is tomorrow, and a potent reminder of how little the government has improved its infrastructure four years since, Red Cross was overwhelmed by the number of people who wanted to donate blood, to do all that they could do to relieve the sufferings of the victims. Now, not money nor blood, Red Cross needs an additional 40,000 volunteers quickly-trained to relieve those already overworking in the relief efforts.
