Desperate Housewives . . . again 2
It's great! I'm watching a taped version.
So the deaf storyline they've got going on there is about Alisa, the name of the deaf mother, with a husband and she doesn't get along with. Both of them were going on counseling.
The kicker is that during dinner with Lynette and Tom, Alisa's husband told her about all their marital problems.
When Lynette said that it wasn't appropriate to talk with Alisa sitting so close to her.
What did Alisa's husband say? The best worst thing that a hearing person can say about someone deaf!
"It's not like she can hear me." Wink, wink.
Awesome! This is the stuff of tension between hearing and deaf people. Who, indeed, can backstab you in front of you, just by talking?
This is the greatest, most knowledgable show ever!
