Desperate Housewives (and Grey's Anatomy)

I saw the show again last night. It wasn't bad. The plotline with the gay characters didn't continue.

BUT, it was substituted with something better: actual coherence in tying plots together.

I love how the narrator knits separate stories together with a theme, and last night's theme was how scandal always happens to people. It was hilarious, and I enjoyed the scandals.

It seems like Desperate Housewives is full of life, because the writers certainly have a plan for each character. They know who the characters are, and what is going to happen to them, and how they will react. It was great to see such consistency and power. I love it.

Then there was the new show after that, Grey's Anatomy. I was able to watch only parts of it, because I had other things to do, but I caught the ending, which was really good. Apparently, there's a bunch of interns hoping to become doctors.

The main character, a woman whose mother was also a doctor before some inexplicable amnesia that made her unable to remember her past, talked about how being in surgery was "such a high" that she wondered why people would ever take drugs. They could just perform surgery to save people's lives.

That was an interesting take on getting high. I love the way it was said.

Grey's Anatomy as a title is a reference to a book called Grey's Anatomy, which was a comprehensive description of human anatomy, probably studied through many cadavers.

I will definitely set a portion of my Sunday night to watching these two shows. Sorry for such a short post, but I'm under pressure with a four-page paper and an Chem exam that are on the same day, next Monday!
