Desperate Housewives . . . again

Just doing my part to promote this show.

The beginning of the show was such a great introduction. There was the mother of a son whose wife was cheating on him. She was hit by a truck and went into coma. When she finally woke up in a hospital, she tried to get a phone to tell her son that Gabrielle was cheating on him.

Of course, there had to be a wet floor, and even though a sign said, "Caution, wet floor, piso mojado," she didn't see that sign and slipped toward the open door to the stairs and fell down a flight.

A nurse saw her and wasn't sure what to do. The grandmother told her to tell her son that his wife was cheating on her.

Unfortunately, the nurse was wearing her headphone listening to that blast R&B music, and she couldn't hear the grandmother.

Sadly, the grandmother died. But that was necessary to keep the soap opera-esque storyline going. The truth will not come out just yet.

But, remember, I saw in the commercial that there was some signing! And there is! It's Marlee Matlin! She plays the deaf mother (who can talk) to two hearing children.

CODA! CODA! CODA! Child of Deaf Adults, I mean.
