Firefox

You probably already know that 1.5 has been released. (It's been in the news.) I personally haven't seen the difference in browsing speed that people are claiming; it's probably faster internally. I shouldn't need to pay attention the engine as long as it works.

What's already significant, however, is that you can move the tabbed browsing panels around. It could be done in , but now Firefox has that feature too. It's important because you can put related pages together (). Moreover, it automatically update itself. That's significant because I don't need to download new versions, or check for updates.

UPDATE: The Help section has an option for you to report a broken website! That's great news. If I end up on a page that Firefox can't display or that accepts only Internet Explorer, then I can report it.

I know some people had some pissed experience with Fx not working in some pages, particularly displaying Chinese characters, and some sites not working.

Maybe because I've been using Opera, the speed doesn't seem faster although my friend claims it has. He would know since he only uses FF. But I will attest to the speed increase in using the back button.
