Carbon dioxide level highest in 650,000 years

Carbon dioxide level highest in 650,000 years: "There is fear that climate change could create a class of environmental refugees displaced from their homes by rising oceans, increasingly catastrophic weather, and expanding deserts."

That means Louisiana, Florida, and Nevada will suffer most. And they're Republican states. Louisiana probably will never be able to rebuilt New Orleans. Florida will keep getting pummeled by hurricanes, and Nevada will be drier, leading to more importation of water from Colorado.

Just you wait. We shall soon see. Here's a mixed metaphor: "Sit on your hands and let the future slip away."
