Answers.com Search
If you use Mozilla Firefox, Dictionary Search Extension allows you to look up meanings by double-clicking to select a word, right-click to open up a menu, then click on Dictionary Search.
You can also add Answers.com search to find out any encyclopedic entry related to the word. Simply go to Tools->Extensions, click on Dictionary Serach, and Click Options. You can add Answers.com to the search by choosing a name for it first, then adding the website: "http://www.answers.com/$".
