A battle with the forces of communism and capitalism, two of which form an unholy alliance in China.
It is unholy because government and business intermingle and fuse. Rather than being independent forces countering and balancing each other, the government and business are one and the same. Both will have limitless amount of resources to wage relentless propaganda.
We have seen it happening here. Every attempt to raise wages or lower carbon dioxide emission, for example, is met by a relentless advertisement claiming that costs would go up, that profits would go down, ad infinitum. The businesses are essentially so rich that they can afford to pay for lawyers, legislation, and weapons of propaganda, but are unwilling to raise the standards of living for their employees, or mitigate the damage to the environment.
