I missed you though i knew that you were there
I missed you though I knew that you were there,
Distance away, your acts were Suns to me,
And have not yet returned - and little fear
Grew up the hills in search, but found not you.
Not you. Where did you go, what did you mean?
The feelings that were hurt, were they by me,
The subtle culprit of a careless tongue?
I know not where to give apology.
You held me not, but gave me token touch.
I do recall once, I would self-implode,
And certain that was why I told you much
That I esteemed myself "the heartless scold."
And now, used to the sunlight of your soul,
Its loss is unredeemed, like Styx's cold.
