PLoS Biology has an interesting article that has stayed popular (in the #1 spot) for a week or so, covering the Florida Panther, an endangered species. Scientists are enraged at the scientifically unsound methodologies used to track the panthers, which have led them to genetic inbreeding and bottleneck because urban developments were permitted to encroach on the panthers' territories.
