I got back home! Now I'm uploading all these pictures, but I want to introduce you to these four presidents that grace Mt. Rushmore.

Lincoln's head looks unfinished, doesn't he? I think that's appropriate because he was assassinated and killed before his second term began. Unfinished were the "great tasks remaining before us" of "binding up our nation's wounds" with "malice towards none and charity for all" and somesuch things he mentioned.

We arrived at Mt. Rushmore after 4 pm, so we missed seeing the sun's effects on the heads, which are said to show emotion at different seasons and weathers that seem to fit the characters, vision, and ideals we attach to our presidents.
