God and the Republican Party
There was an episode on 30 Days by Morgan Spurlock pitting an atheist against a family of fundamentalist Christians.
By the end of the show, neither convinced the other, but all claim to understand each other more. The Bible study group claimed to enjoy being challenged.
The fact that Spurlock decided to do it this way instead of putting a fundamentalist in the home of an atheist family may speak to his idea that the worth of one atheist is equal to the worth of a Christian family.
If so, so be it. I wished the atheist woman did a better job of explaining all the natural laws of science, but I guess she being the only atheist against a family that is easily riled by disbelief had experience a case of nerves.
