GRE score

Panting, I looked at the screen while it asked me to confirm again a potential source of another traumatic experience of my life. This being a computer, it already knew the score I had. All I had to do was release it. I looked clearly at the buttons. "Yes" and "No" making use of eight shades of gray our eyes can perceive side by side on the dialog box; the operating system appeared to be Windows 95 or 98. Quite old, having none of that fancy buttons and colors you see in XP.

I was ready. I knew that come what may, I must know it. It's better than ignorance, denying myself knowledge whether or not I did well. I accept it as determinative of my "intelligence" as calculated in points and multiple choices. I clicked "Yes."
