tremorseven.com

I have found EmoAllen again since last I sighted his site. Where? I do not know. But he was one of the first to blog, that many years ago in 2002. Before my time then. I didn't discover him until 2004, when he already vanished from the Internet. His site was tremorseven.com, which is now a advertising portal site. But you can still find traces of it on web archive. He had a blog, which when I read it was so musical that I was enraptured. His writing is stream of consciousness-based, and so visual that you could see them. I'm sure he would not appreciate me linking to these most private thoughts, but I will. In any case, he is or, if time has aged and jaded him, he was truly emo. His writing was random, emotional and honest. He is an example exemplar of self-reflective writing.

When he vanished, I thought that I had lost track of a great writer, but he shows up again. I found him by searching for "emoallen tremorseven" and on the list, I found his new blog, i walk slow. And you can catch his latest emowhine.

What is emo? you may ask. Emo is whining, basically. It is wearing a reggae hat, having long hair, and whining about the world and being mistreated. It is the pretense of being jaded, of being tired, of eating unhealthy food, of skipping school and looking tough, of saying less than you know and meaning more, of disillusionment, of losing dreams, I guess. That childhood hope that goes awry.

He may not dress the part, I can say he writes it. He no longer writes in emo though, having outgrown the fashion. But his writing remains like dewdrops on eyelashes.
