:
Those figures, along with weakened support for GOP handling of the battle against terrorism, have given Democrats a 16 percentage point lead over Republicans when registered voters are asked which party they will support in November.

Never believe this. The Republicans still have a 4-point advantage over Democrats on dealing with terrorism. The greatest threat has always been terrorism. It's this xenophobic fear of barbarians that has always determined the course of nations. As I forsee it, the Republicans will maintain its hold on Congress once more. President Bush will keep smirking over the legacy of being the only President since Roosevelt to keep the Republicans in control of Congress through all eight years of his presidency, and for the rest of this and the next decade.

Go. Go and smile, damnéd villains!

I hope the President throughout his life, far from the time that he overreached his ambition up with equal sense of incompetence and haughtiness, pray like Claudius when he said,

"My words fly up, my thoughts remain below.
Words without thoughts never to heaven go."
