I was borrowing books in the library, and the act of borrowing made me realize how great libraries are.

I was looking at the list of checkout and I saw that the last time it was checked out was on November 30, 2001. It makes me wonder, "What was that person doing? What was that person looking for in this book?"

A simple book as this touched many lives, gave them a paper to write about or to cite in their works. Four years later, I am borrowing this in 2005. When will be the next time this book is borrowed again?

The history of a book amazes me. What hands have held it, what eyes have pored over its content?
