You figuratively saved my life! I was wondering what was mu_0, the constant, and you told me that it was a magnetic constant of 1.2567*10^-6 m kg s^-2 A^-2. Thankfully, I did not have to trudge through my textbook trying to find it, since the actual Greek letter ยต is not to be found in the index.
Moreover, the Useful Data section in the beginning of the text book calls mu_0 "the permeability constant" of 1.26*10^6 T m A^-1, which is incorrect and cannot be calculated for finding the Force per unit length = (I^2*mu_0)/(2*pi*d).
