The Anti-Conservatives
The neo-Conservatives are now the Anti-Conservatives, says the magazine American Conservative, which I got from Bloglines. It's an entertaining piece, railing against Bush's Wilsonian agenda.
Wilson was that president who tried to create the League of Nations to remake the world, and failed. Only the practical nature of FDR and Churchill could form the United Nations with a more focused agenda of giving nation-states a forum to debate, while still giving the permanent members veto powers.
The world ready to oppose Bush at every turn. We will see how this head-butting works out.
