The more people feel that Clinton should drop out, the more I actually think she should stay in. It is far too late for Clinton to change her mind. Only by such bitter medicine can we finally get rid of that toxin that has plagued our politics. So, I urge Clinton to stay to June, because I think, if she does drop out, there will still be many people who vote for her, more out of lost cause. The Clintons have already built such a strong and loyal coalition, that it seems to me Obama is a lost cause. He will need to lose and lose greatly in the fall.

The baby boomers will not be outnumbered by those younger until 2010, so we will not yet see the boomer generation fade until after that time, when we can finally say goodbye to those silly identity politics, and the last gasps of the profligate American empire.
