Apple has taken down its slogan "You can't be too thin. Or too powerful." because of what it obviously implies about weight, and its "triggering" effect on people with eating disorders. It's been clear from the start.
The PC vs. Mac commercial has portrayed the PC guy as having a bit of heft. Mac demos of iLife show people snowboarding and having fun while being thin.
It's been part of Apple's campaign of marketing to beautiful people. Those who are unbeautiful are subliminally exhorted to either be beautiful or buy something else.
