delayexec.exe
I found a new file, delayexec.exe from a discussion forum on BOINC, that I think could be useful.
The problem with starting up the computer is when you have multiple files starting up, the sequence in which they run can be random. Files can disappear, or programs never run. Error messages appear that are not reproducible.
If I'm running BOINC, along with ePrompter, Google Desktop, as well as anti-virus software and firewall (by Norton, whose software are notorious for being memory and resource hogs, but which I installed because my school required it when I lived in the dorm), sometimes ePrompter disappear, or BOINC can't find the files. And I see the hard disk drive light turn on continuously.
It's a problem with you have only 512 MB of RAM.
So delayexec.exe would be useful for keeping BOINC from running until 30 seconds later, when everything the computer is trying to do is finished.
