Bush shuns Patriot Act requirement

Caesar Bush signed "an addendum saying that he did not feel obliged to obey requirements that he inform Congress about how the FBI was using the act's expanded police powers."

On one hand, I support Bush trying to offer amnesty and course to naturalization of illegal immigrants. It's the first step toward assimilating them into American culture, by accepting them as citizens.

On the other hand, he refuses to follow the law set on him. At least he isn't being secretive about it now, but it's disturbing nonetheless to see him espousing the rules of law that immigrants should follow, while refusing to follow his own law.

I've always mistrusted Bush even as I support some of what he says, and disapprove of what he does. It is his actions we must censure, not his sugarcoated words.
