Wikipedia (again) Deaf WikiProject
There's a deaf Deaf WikiProject proposal that I was just informed of by ntennis, the one who started it. She apparently lives in Australia and uses Australian Sign Language (Auslan).
If you would like to contribute for better organising (ha, British spelling) information in articles related to sign languages of the world, Deaf culture, deafness, and more, you can join. I think you can be a beginner of ASL, but as long as you post fact-based information, you'll always be important.
