WMF arbitrary code execution
You've probably heard on the news that Windows has a new vulnerability involving WMF arbitrary code execution, exploiting the Graphics Rendering Engine SetAbortProc Code Vulnerability. You can visit a website containing an infected image file, which will then take over your machine.
All versions of Windows from 98 to XP are affected. A security update was released yesterday. Since Windows 98 does not download updates automatically, you will need to go online and download them. The plan was to release it on January 10th, but the threat is so great that it was released yesterday.
The magnitude of the threat? Not even virus scanners can stop it.
