I think poetry-writing is easier than novel-writing, but it turns out that the month of November is National Novel Writing Month, where the challenge is to write 50,000-word novel. I think I'm not good at story-telling, but I'm mulling over writing a crappy novel just to share the torment of trying to write 50,000 words of fiction with thousands of others doing the same thing.

It should be fun. I'm not sure I'll make it because I'm also busy with schoolwork. Then again, when I don't have a high expectation of myself, the end result would be equally un-disappointing.

Anyone that falls into "Someday, I'll write a novel" category, can surely commit a month to it.

Good luck!
