changed archive format

Because the Archive list was getting long, awkward, and unwieldy, I've changed it to a drop-down menu. As usual, the most recent archive is at the end, not the beginning.

I haven't re-published ENTIRE BLOG, because it takes a minute to do that. From 2002 to 2005, I've written more than 153,771 words. *giggles*

Probably 10 posts were what I'd consider worthwhile.

How many words were completely new words that I never used again, I wonder? I don't think I've re-used words like eponymous, highfalutin, sobriquet, equivocate, abrogate, churlish, kowtow, loquacious, taxonomy, or antebellum ever again. Until now.

How many of those words, I also wonder, sent people flying to dictionary.com? Unless they didn't care, which would hurt my feeling badly. I remember having to look up the dictionary every 10 minutes when I was watching TV, to learn what those words mean. My dictionary was leaved through so many times it has fallen apart, its pages ready to slip from the spine, and its covers taped together with Scotch.

That dictionary was American Heritage, the pocketbook edition, as well as the Oxford, American abridged edition.
