chinese deaf dancers in x-men

chinese deaf dancers

Amazingly, all the dancers are Deaf. Some wear hearing aids, and can follow the music, while others are cued by non-Deafs that aren't seen in the video.

It's pretty. Someone sent me this link. My mother told me "qian shou Guanyin" means "thousand-hand listen-sound," a god that has a thousand hands (metaphorically) and listens to people in trouble, in poverty, in needs. But she doesn't necessarily help people, but as far as I know, she doesn't help people directly. She's like a counselor.

Wikipedia has the following article. You could think of her as Leucothea and Orpheus.

She's associated with vegetarianism because of her compassion and mercy. She was also featured in the X-Men comic book as Kuan-Yin Xorn. I want to look for that.
