No marriage will be legal in Texas
if its constitutional amendment #2 passes.
Apparently, the wording of that amendment is basically this:
(A) Marriage is defined as only a union of a man and a woman.
(B) The state of Texas may not recognize any legal status identical to (A).
That means . . . if this passes, any person can challenge straight marriage as illegal. All marriages are henceforth invalid. Those who live in Texas probably should vote no, unless they want to end marriage as we know it, bringing about the end of civilization. As it were.
