The special effects are so good I didn't pay attention to it!
Hmm, mm, Matt Damon can sure carry a monologue. He did in in Good Will Hunting, in Saving Private Ryan, and probably other movies I haven't seen.
His intensity, pace, and facial expression are such that you are focused on him so much as you realize to what the entire movie is leading, and you have a climax after the climax. The first climax was naturally the end of the typical car-chasing scene; the second climax was culmination of how he dealt with his past of being an assassin and what he was doing now.
